AVANGRID SERVICE COMPANY seeks a Project Manager - Transmission & ISO Policy to lead regulatory strategies across ISO‑NE and NYISO and support transmission growth. The role reports to the Sr.

Manager - Transmission & ISO Policy and interacts with planning, legal, finance, and operations to shape company positions. The role requires 8+ years in transmission policy or energy markets, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to influence outcomes across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience in transmission policy, regulatory affairs, energy markets, or related fields.
• FERC proceedings, transmission tariffs, or ISO/RTO market structures experience.
• Strong understanding of utility ratemaking and transmission cost recovery.
• Ability to influence outcomes without direct supervisory authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead participation in federal and state regulatory proceedings related to transmission and energy markets.
• Develop and implement policy strategies to support transmission investment and market objectives.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to develop aligned Company positions.
• Represent the Company in ISO-NE and NYISO stakeholder processes and industry groups.
• Deliver high-impact presentations to senior leadership on policy topics.
• Monitor policy developments in FERC orders and energy market design.
• Prepare regulatory filings, reports, and executive briefings.
• Support compliance and policy initiatives across Avangrid Networks.
