Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program, or related degree with 3 years of experience.
Master's degree in engineering or business with 2 years experience.
PhD in engineering with 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

Perform a broad range of transmission studies and consulting services including power flow, transient stability, transfer capability, short-circuit, voltage and harmonics analysis.
Evaluate regulatory requirements (NERC, FERC) and regional requirements; production costing and risk assessment.
Independently execute transmission system planning studies using PSS/E, PSLF, EMTP/ATP, PSCAD, SKM, ETAP and Promod.
Develop life-cycle cost analyses including CAPEX, O&M costs and economic forecasts.
Develop technical reports and client presentations; support project managers and business development.
