PNM Energy is seeking an Engineering Supervisor (Transmission Planning) who will lead a team of engineers and technical staff in the design, construction, and maintenance of transmission projects in Texas. You will ensure projects meet schedules, budgets, and codes while guiding daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5–7 years related experience.
• Must possess a current, legally valid driver's license and meet the company's driving record requirements.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write complex correspondence and present information.
• Proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and data interpretation.

Responsabilités

• Plans, coordinates, and supervises engineers and senior technical staff within the engineering section or functional unit
• Oversees multiple projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Delegates tasks and assignments effectively to optimize team performance
• Ensures compliance with industry codes, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Provides input for long-range planning related to distribution, sub-transmission, transmission, and generation
• Handles employee-related matters including performance appraisals, training, and counseling
• Recommends updates and improvements to engineering and construction standards
• Collaborates with construction scheduling and contract management teams to support successful project execution
• Provides administrative support to management and contribute to budget planning for the area
• Performs engineering work on large or multiple smaller projects as needed
