Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in Fort Myers is seeking a Class C Lineman to construct and repair electrical transmission systems. This entry-level role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, with travel to various job sites as needed and reporting to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining overhead transmission lines, climbing structures, and operating heavy lifting equipment. The role requires a CDL, 2 years of line experience, and willingness to work overtime and

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work for extended periods at different job locations, including out of state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de energize transmission systems while putting safety first.
• Help install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers and other pieces of transmission line equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, and inclement weather.
