PIKE is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair electrical transmission systems on energized and de-energized lines. The role requires travel to various job sites as needed and reports to the Foreman. Compensation ranges from $30.92 to $40.49 per hour.

Responsibilities include installing overhead lines, climbing structures, and operating line equipment while prioritizing safety. Requires CDL and willingness to travel; union benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work for extended periods at different job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized transmission systems while putting safety first.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Operate and maintain transmission line equipment and vehicles.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and at heights.
