Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman in Texas to construct and repair transmission systems safely, including energized lines. The role requires CDL and travel to different job sites, with opportunities to work outages, storms, and emergencies.

You will lead crew members, conduct safety briefings, and mentor apprentices while operating bucket trucks and other line equipment in varied outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to work outside normal hours including weekends, holidays, emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair energized and de-energized transmission systems with safety first.
• Lead crew members in the absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and ground workers.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines and related hardware.
