Job summary

Entergy Arkansas, LLC seeks a Helper - Apprentice 3rd Year to construct, build and maintain overhead transmission lines (69kV–500kV) in Arkansas. You will drive trucks, operate bucket trucks, cranes and digger derrick units, read prints and climb poles, with on-call duty and up to 75% travel.

The position is onsite with a primary location in Little Rock. Candidates must complete an accredited lineworker training program or have equivalent experience; a Class A CDL and EEI CAST testing are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Apprentice 1st Year: Completion of an accredited Lineworker Training program OR prior demonstrated linework experience.
• Apprentice 2nd Year: 2 years of experience required.
• Apprentice 3rd Year: 3 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, build and maintain overhead transmission line facilities (69KV-500KV).
• Read and understand job prints and sketches.
• Be available for emergency after-hours response and on-call duty rotation.
