Job summary

Responsibilities

• Report irregularities and abnormal conditions and follow safety rules.
• Patrol transmission lines using maps and drawings.
• Use proper hand signals for line work.
• Install, maintain and repair overhead lines and related components.
• Assist in using live line tools and safe methods to maintain lines.
• Make up conductor and shield wire splices and terminations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in an orderly fashion.
• Attend training and assist in training other employees.
