Job summary

Eversource Energy in Hooksett, NH seeks a capable supervisor to lead line crews installing, maintaining, and repairing the underground and overhead electric transmission and distribution system. You will oversee equipment, materials, and record-keeping, train line workers, review performance, and coordinate work assignments while ensuring on-time completion within budget.

The role requires travel between MA/CT/NH as needed and willingness to standby for emergencies; a Class A CDL and 34.5 kV

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; combination of education, training and experience to meet Line-worker I (RG 34.5) requirements.
Minimum of three years as a Line-worker I (RG 34.5); supervisory experience preferred.
Commercial Driver's license (Class A) with Special Trailer Endorsement and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Supervises line crew(s) involved in installation, maintenance and repairs of underground and overhead electric transmission/distribution systems.
Oversees equipment, materials and record-keeping, including time sheets and tailboard documentation.
Trains, instructs and mentors Line-workers to ensure safety rules and procedures are followed.
Evaluates performance and coordinates and schedules work assignments.
Provides first response coverage to off-hour emergencies and ensures proper staffing.
