Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Transmission Lineworker in New Hampshire to build, install, repair and maintain transmission circuits and substations, and work on structures and rights‑of‑way. Expect to patrol, inspect and perform tasks on energized and de‑energized circuits while adhering to safety and union guidelines.

Candidate must be a fully rated Lineworker 1 or equivalent, with CDL Class A and a clean driving record; HS diploma or GED required, CAST test/ agility assessment as needed, and

Qualifications

• Fully meet the requirements of a fully rated Lineworker 1 or the equivalent.
• Two years of experience in construction, installation and maintenance of transmission level circuits per NH IBEW preference.
• CDL Class A license and a safe driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CAST aptitude test and agility assessment, if applicable.
• Overtime for storm restoration and emergencies.
• Weight limit of 300 pounds.
• Subject to Transmission Lineworker Agreement.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, repair, maintain and remove distribution and transmission circuits, substations and related facilities.
• Install and remove transmission structures and related apparatus.
• Patrol and inspect the transmission system.
• Perform tasks with rights‑of‑way assets on energized and de‑energized circuits.
• May perform tasks of lower rated classifications as needed.
