Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to design lines from 69kV to 765kV, perform structural and foundation analysis, and develop procurement specs. You will model lines in PLS-CADD, calculate sag, determine ROW requirements, and review vendor submittals.

The role supports a hybrid schedule with a three/two split between office and remote work. We value ABET-accredited engineering degrees and at least 1 year of related experience or a Master’s degree, plus strong communication

Formación

• ABET-accredited engineering degree is required.
• 1+ years of transmission line engineering experience or a Master’s degree.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of design techniques for technical plans and drawings.
• Familiarity with design codes (NESC, IEC, IEEE, ASCE 7, etc.).
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Design transmission lines in the 69kV to 765kV range.
• Perform structural and foundation design for various structures.
• Conductor selection, shielding, grounding and induction studies.
• Develop cost estimates, schedules and procurement specs.
• Model lines in PLS-CADD; assess ROW, sag calculations and plan/profile drawings.
• Review vendor submittals.
