Job summary

Electric Power Systems, Inc. seeks a Transmission Line Design Engineer to join our team in Alaska. This full-time role may require some travel.

Proficiency using PLS-CADD and knowledge of the NESC code are required. Alaska professional engineer registration or the ability to obtain it in the near future is preferred. You will lead transmission line design, technical reviews, standards development, and client communications.

  • Prepare cost estimates, project scheduling and manage project activities.

We are currently seeking a skilled Transmission Line Design Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position and may require some travel. Proficiency utilizing PLS-CADD is required. You must have knowledge of NESC code as well. Alaska professional engineer/registration or the capability of acquiring the registration in the near future is preferred. You will be responsible for the development of transmission line design (engineering analysis, route selection, structure spotting, and line design calculations), business development, and client interaction. Other responsibilities include technical design, project review, development of transmission standards, drawings, specifications, cost estimating, project scheduling, and project management.
