Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman - Transmission (Oncor) (Maintenance) to support construction, repair and maintenance of the power grid under a Foreman's supervision. This role involves rigorous physical labor and a strong emphasis on safety while working outdoors.

You will install and repair overhead transmission components, lift and move tools and equipment, and travel to job sites, including out‑of‑state assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair de‑energized powerlines while putting safety first.
• Help install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• You will perform rigorous physical labor and regularly lift heavy tools and equipment.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good work order.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, and inclement weather.
• Available to work outages, storms, emergencies including on call rotation.
