Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Foreman - Transmission (Oncor) to lead a crew in constructing and repairing energized and de-energized transmission systems, reporting to the General Foreman.

This safety-focused role requires climbing structures, heavy lifting, and willingness to travel to multiple job sites, including out-of-state locations, with on-call rotations. You will oversee quality and deadlines while ensuring proper pre-job safety briefings and training junior staff.

Qualifications

• Five years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Ability to climb structures and work at heights near energized equipment.
• Safety-focused with ability to lead a crew and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Experience coaching and training junior employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of transmission systems.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators, conductors and hardware.
• Oversee project quality and deadlines.
• Travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions; on-call rotation.
