Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing electrical transmission systems. You will work on energized and de-energized powerlines and may travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, reporting to the General Foreman.

This role emphasizes safety, hands-on leadership, and the ability to manage deadlines while coordinating with crews and customers on diverse projects across varying environments.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends and emergency callouts.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew to construct and repair transmission systems while prioritizing safety.
• Perform new construction and maintenance on energized and de-energized lines.
• Direct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Oversee project quality and deadlines.
• Operate and maintain line equipment (bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners).
• Work outdoors in varying conditions and respond to outages and emergencies.
