Job summary

Stellantis Transmission Engineering is seeking Design/Release/Development/Validation Engineers (DVE) for automatic transmissions, drivelines and gears. You will design, develop and validate components and systems and collaborate with hardware, software, calibration, thermal management, engine and driveline groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical or related field.
• At least 3 years in automatic transmission hardware design, driveline design or hardware validation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, capable of managing multiple complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute tests to ensure functional objectives and durability goals are met.
• Perform test planning, BOM development, test cell setup and debug, and test schedule development.
• Conduct root cause analysis of test stoppages and lead inspection and reporting of test articles.
• Initiate root cause analysis and develop solutions when failures are identified.
