Job summary

SEGULA Technologies in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks a Development & Validation Engineer to design, develop, and validate propulsion system components and powertrain systems. You will collaborate with Controls, Calibration, Thermal Management, and E‑Motor teams to ensure top performance and reliability.

You will lead DFMEA, define system requirements, and manage testing to meet durability goals, while supporting launch activities and field-quality investigations.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years in automatic transmission, driveline, or electrified powertrain hardware, calibration, or controls development

Responsibilities

• Lead system development for powertrain components and systems.
• Own the DVPR and manage test execution to meet functional objectives and durability goals.
• Lead root cause analysis for field warranty and quality investigations; drive robust solutions.
• Collaborate with Controls, Calibration, Thermal Management, and E‑Motor teams to ensure high performance and reliability.
