Think Power Solutions is seeking a Transmission Construction Representative to oversee contractor performance on electric transmission projects, including substation upgrades and new substations. The role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, and compliance with project design specs.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in transmission line or substation work, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of transmission line and substation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Monitor safe completion of work and adherence to design specs and safety standards.
• Manage projects including substation upgrades and construction of new substations.
• Identify potential issues impacting timelines, quality, or safety.
• Resolve issues to maintain timelines and quality.
• Interpret engineering drawings and advise their application in construction.
• Ensure compliance with Owner construction standards and safety terms.
• Mentor and train other Transmission Construction Representatives.
