Job summary

A renowned engineering services company in Fort Wayne, Indiana is looking for a Transmission Construction Representative. This role involves site management and ensuring compliance with federal and local regulations during the construction of Transmission Lines and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, excellent communication skills, and experience in construction management. Benefits include health insurance and a 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Willingness to work long hours in remote locations.
• Pass screening process including drug test.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor duties for Transmission Lines or Transmission Station.
• Review Client Company’s plans for constructability.
• Manage construction site compliance with regulations.
• Generate construction progress reports!
• Provide quality feedback on contractors and materials.
• Inspect materials and coordinate on-time delivery.
• Maintain OSHA compliance oversight.
• Estimate costs for authorization of work.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management

Electrical or civil engineering technology associate degree and 2 years of experience
