Job summary
A renowned engineering services company in Fort Wayne, Indiana is looking for a Transmission Construction Representative. This role involves site management and ensuring compliance with federal and local regulations during the construction of Transmission Lines and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, excellent communication skills, and experience in construction management. Benefits include health insurance and a 401K with company match.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license required.
Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Willingness to work long hours in remote locations.
Pass screening process including drug test.
Responsibilities
Coordinate contractor duties for Transmission Lines or Transmission Station.
Review Client Company’s plans for constructability.
Manage construction site compliance with regulations.
Generate construction progress reports!
Provide quality feedback on contractors and materials.
Inspect materials and coordinate on-time delivery.
Maintain OSHA compliance oversight.
Estimate costs for authorization of work.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management
Electrical or civil engineering technology associate degree and 2 years of experience
