Advocate Health is seeking a Clinical Studies Coordinator II - Translational Neuroscience to support neuro research at Wake Forest Baptist Health. The role coordinates studies, assists with participant recruitment and visits, and ensures regulatory compliance with investigators to translate discoveries into patient care.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree with two years of clinical research experience or an equivalent combination.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with two years; experience in clinical research; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
SOCRA or ACRP Certification preferred. Must complete the CITI certification for Human Subject Research if not already completed.
WakeOne training for research coordinators.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of Study Investigators or Clinical Research Nurse Manager, coordinates clinical research studies with minimal supervision.
Participates in recruitment of patients to studies and informs consent processes as needed.
Performs protocol-specific duties and ensures adherence to sponsor requirements and regulatory guidelines.
Abstracts data from medical records and completes case report forms, maintaining source documents with accuracy.
Identifies protocol or data issues and communicates them to the supervisor promptly.
Provides staff coverage as required and participates in team meetings and quality improvement projects.
May mentor new staff and ensures confidentiality and compliance with codes of conduct.
