Job summary

Advocate Health is advancing neuroscience research at Wake Forest Baptist Health. The Clinical Studies Coordinator II coordinates studies, supports recruitment, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates with investigators to translate discoveries into improved patient care.

The role requires organization, attention to detail and a passion for clinical research, with in-person work in Winston-Salem and potential travel to Charlotte.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with two years of clinical research experience or equivalent combination.
• SOCRA or ACRP certification preferred.
• Must complete CITI Human Subjects Research training and WakeOne training.

Responsibilities

• Assist investigators with study coordination and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit study participants and conduct study visits per protocol.
• Obtain informed consent and reinforce study information with subjects and families.
• Abstract data from medical records and complete CRFs with source documentation.
• Identify protocol or data issues and communicate them to supervisor promptly.
• Mentor new staff and participate in team meetings and quality improvements.
