Job summary

The Transitional Executive Director for Student Health / Assistant Vice Chancellor for Integrated Care at University of California, Santa Barbara provides strategic and operational leadership for Student Health Services, including primary care, behavioral health, psychiatry, and the Student Health Insurance Plan, with accountability for a $30+ million budget and ~100 FTE staff.

Qualifications

• Board certification and CA medical license.
• Master's in Public Health or Healthcare Administration with 10+ years in leadership/administrative role, OR MD/PhD with 5+ years leadership.
• Experience leading healthcare administration programs and budget oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Student Health Services.
• Lead development and execution of the integrated behavioral health model.
• Oversee a $30+ million budget and ~100 FTE staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and high-quality care.
