Job summary

UC Santa Barbara’s Student Wellbeing seeks a Transitional Executive Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for Student Health Services, reporting to the AVC for Student Wellbeing. The role manages a $30+ million budget, ~100 staff, and oversees integration of clinical and behavioral health programs to support 25,000+ students.

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified and licensed to practice in California.
• Master’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration or related fields with at least 10 years in leadership.
• MD, PhD, PsyD or equivalent clinical training with at least five years in healthcare administration leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Student Health Services.
• Oversee a $30+ million budget and ~100 FTE staff.
• Lead integration of behavioral health model across SHS, CAPS, and campus partners.
• Direct executive governance, planning and policy execution for wellbeing programs.
