Job summary

Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency (KRESA) seeks a Job Coach for Transition Services in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The role supports students through work-based learning, aligning with core values and collaborating with teachers and the work-based learning coordinator to maintain IEP integrity.

You will arrange transportation, help students gain skills and credentials for employment or volunteering, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; WBL experience preferred.
• Experience with Work-Based Learning sites and documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align services with KRESA Core Values to engage and serve all students.
• Assist students to obtain skills, credentials, resources, and support to become employed or volunteer.
• Serve as liaison with teachers and WBL coordinator to maintain IEP integrity.
• Coordinate transportation for students to worksites and assist with scheduling recurring rides.
• Maintain up-to-date records for WBL students and COUNT purposes.
• Participate in bi-weekly WBL discussions to help students connect to IEP goals.
