We arecurrentlyseekinga Criminal Justice and Public Safety Instructor at the KRESA Career Connect Campus in Kalamazoo, Michigan.The essential responsibilitiesfor this positioninclude but are not limited to:
Must hold one of the following State of Michigan certifications:State Secondary Provisional Certification with the CIP43.0100Public Safetyendorsement;CTE Certification or Occupational Education Certification with the CIP43.0100endorsement;ORMustbe able to qualify for Annual Career Authorization which includes having two years (4,000 hours) of current, industry-related experience in the last ten years.Required to have or ability to obtain upon hiring:National Law Enforcement Certification (LAPSEN).Preferred:Certified Public Safety Officer, Law Enforcement Specialist, Public Safety Technician.
This is a 10-month calendar position in job grade 17 with an annual rate of pay between $48,490 and $102,353.
