Cognizant is seeking a Transition Manager for a full-time remote opportunity in the United States. The role leads migration of infrastructure services, workplace services, field support and hosting functions into steady-state operations across North America.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in IT Engineering or related discipline and 15 years of experience in service desk, digital workplace, field support, hosting, networking, cybersecurity and data center operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT Engineering or related discipline.
• 15 years of related experience in the areas listed (Service Desk, Digital Workplace, Field Support, Hosting, Network, Cybersecurity, Data Center Operations).
• ITIL Foundation certification; PMP / PRINCE2 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own regional transition plans and execution.
• Maintain RAID logs and mitigation actions.
• Conduct weekly governance reviews.
• Ensure milestone achievement and contractual compliance.
• Plan and execute KT activities.
• Validate process documentation.
• Conduct service readiness reviews.
• Lead Day-1 planning and Hypercare.

The Transition Manager leads activities across North America ensuring smooth migration of infrastructure services workplace services field support operations and hosting functions from incumbent teams into steady-state operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with US and Canada business stakeholders.
• Manage transition activities for offices, plants, warehouses and corporate locations.
• Lead executive stakeholder communications.
• Support compliance audit and regulatory requirements.
• Govern onsite and remote support readiness.
• Drive infrastructure operational acceptance across all towers.

Common Responsibilities Across All Four Roles

Transition Governance

• Own regional transition plans and execution.

Knowledge Transfer Management

• Plan and execute KT activities.

• Drive stabilization activities.
• Monitor early-life support performance.

Stakeholder Management

• Build relationships with business leaders and tower leads.
• Conduct customer-facing transition reviews.
• Escalate risks and dependencies proactively.

Required Qualifications

The salary range for this role is between $115,000 and $135,000 depending on skills and qualifications of the candidate. Applications will be accepted till 10/05/2026.
