Job summary

Mental Health America of Los Angeles (MHALA) is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to oversee the Transition Age Youth Services program, provide supervision to clinical and non-clinical staff, and ensure high-quality integrated services for members. The role includes budgeting, data reporting, and collaboration with DMH and funding sources to meet fiscal and program goals.

Qualifications

• ASW, MFT, LPC or PsyD/PhD, LCSW/LMFT/LPCC/Licensed Psychologist preferred.
• If a clinician, current LPS designation or be qualified within 9 months.
• Three years of experience in a nonprofit social service agency serving members with mental health, housing, employment, health and homelessness needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide general oversight for department service activities and direct supervision to staff.
• Coordinate and lead staff meetings and case conferences.
• Ensure program meets budget, billing goals, and data reporting requirements.
• Develop partnerships with community resources and mentor new staff.
• Oversee quality assurance of member files and data collection.
