Job summary

Mental Health America of Los Angeles (MHALA) invites applications for a Clinical Program Manager to lead the Welcoming Team and oversee services for Full Service Partnership streams in LA County. You will supervise staff, ensure high quality client care, and maintain compliance with DMH and MHALA standards.

The role emphasizes recruiting and mentoring, budgeting and billing oversight, and strong collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• ASW, MFT, APCC or PsyD/PhD required.
• LCSW/LMFT/LPCC/Licensed Psychologist preferred.
• Minimum of three years in a nonprofit social service setting.
• Experience in supervisory/leadership roles required.
• Current LPS designation or eligibility within 9 months.
• Strong facilitation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to the Welcoming Team; ensure quality care and DMH/MHALA compliance.
• Guide staff outreaching, assessing and enrolling members with a person-centered approach.
• Transition members onto appropriate service levels after enrollment.
• Coordinate staff meetings, case conferences and internal reviews.
• Partner on recruiting, training and mentoring new staff.
• Deliver ongoing direction, support, and team development.
• Meet program budget and billing goals; ensure timely data reporting.
• Monitor performance goals per DMH Exhibit and internal metrics.
• Participate in planning, community groups and staff development activities.
• Maintain quality assurance of member files and documentation.
• Assist with agency-wide initiatives and inter-department collaboration.
• Ensure timely communication of strategic direction to staff.
• Provide on-call crisis support as required.
• Support staff on employee relations and training needs.
