Job summary

Mental Health America of Los Angeles (MHALA) is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to oversee a multidisciplinary service program for individuals with mental health needs. This role ensures service integration with housing, health and wellness, and staff supervision across clinical and non-clinical teams.

Under the supervision of the Adult Team Services leadership, you will drive program operations, ensure compliance with DMH and agency standards, and support program development through

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in a non-profit social service agency serving members.
• Strong facilitation and written communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work across regions and roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Oversee FSP program teams and ensure DMH and MHALA standards.
• Coordinate staff meetings, case conferences and trainings.
• Monitor program performance and budget/billing goals; ensure data reporting is timely and accurate.
• Build partnerships with community resources to benefit members/clients.
