Job summary

Via seeks a Strategy & Operations Principal to own end-to-end performance of our Tulare transit service, including service quality, partner relations, and financial outcomes. You will lead a team through transformational change, build operating systems, and establish culture and accountability for long-term success.

You will operate with discipline in day-to-day work, aligning central functions with local execution, and communicating a clear change narrative to stakeholders and riders alike.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading complex operations
• Experience transforming transit or large service operations
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the vision for the transit service and lead the team to execution.
• Define KPIs and translate performance data into operational decisions.
• Design staffing models and scheduling strategies for 24/7 service.
• Represent Via to community stakeholders and maintain partner relationships.
