Via is rebuilding a transit service in Tulare, CA and seeks an Associate General Manager to lead transformation, operate with discipline, and guide a team through change onsite every day.

You will own end-to-end service performance—on-time reliability, rider experience, safety, and cost efficiency—while shaping partnerships, culture, and the long-term trajectory of the Tulare service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading complex operations.
• Independent self-starter in fast-paced environments with high responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation vision for the new Tulare transit service.
• Build operating systems, staffing models, and service cadences.
• Communicate change narrative to team, partners, and stakeholders.
• Own end-to-end operating strategy: on-time performance, rider experience, safety, cost efficiency.
• Define KPIs and translate data into operational decisions.
• Design staffing and scheduling for 24/7 service reliability.
• Develop frontline leaders and coach the team.
• Manage partner relationships and represent Via to community stakeholders.
