Job summary

Chicago Transit Authority seeks a senior technology executive to lead the digital transformation, aligning strategic IT initiatives with CTA’s mission to enhance safety, reliability and customer experience. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related discipline with extensive technology leadership experience.
• Ten or more years managing technology applications, systems, and operations in large organizations.
• Master’s degree in CS or ITM is preferred; public agency or transportation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a digital transformation roadmap and strategic vision for modernizing CTA’s technologies.
• Lead enterprise telecom and network modernization programs to improve reliability and coverage.
• Direct lifecycle management of enterprise systems, security, data plans, and cloud initiatives.
• Oversee IT operations including service desks, change management, and vendor relationships.
• Establish and execute IT strategy programs and collaborate with CTA leadership and external consultants.
