Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT Management, Technology, or a related discipline.
• Ten years of experience managing technology applications, systems, devices, and infrastructure.
• Five+ years in staff supervisory or management role.
• Ten or more years leading large cross-functional teams or enterprise technology programs.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology Management preferred.
• Experience managing technology department in a public agency, transportation telecommunications, or utility.
• Experience leading, developing, and implementing technology strategy.
• Experience developing and managing IT policy and IT enterprise security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a digital transformation roadmap for modernization.
• Champion adoption of contemporary technologies across CTA platforms.
• Lead data storage strategy, data warehouse expansion, and cloud migration.
• Oversee telecom and network modernization; audits of legacy tech.
• Direct lifecycle management of enterprise systems and public safety tech.
• Lead IT strategy projects with CTA leadership and external consultants.
• Ensure IT assets are proactively managed with ITIL-based processes.
• Oversee IT contracts, vendor relations, grants, and budgets.
• Collaborate with Finance and Procurement on capital investments.
• Lead cloud and emerging tech functions for cost efficiency.
• Provide executive direction to staff and establish training programs.
