Job summary

The Transit Technology Program Lead at CTDOT will drive statewide transit technology programs from planning through deployment, collaborating with transit operators, municipalities, vendors, and state and federal partners to deliver safer, more reliable, accessible, and customer-friendly services.

You will translate strategic priorities into actionable programs, oversee procurement, system engineering, and program management, and lead teams across disciplines while advancing innovative mobility

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of professional experience in transportation planning or related field.
• Experience coordinating complex planning projects.
• Substitutions allowed: college hours or master's degree for experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide transit technology projects from planning to deployment and operation.
• Coordinate with CTtransit, municipalities, agencies, consultants and vendors.
• Develop strategic technology plans, roadmaps, and business cases.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, and vendor management.
• Provide technical guidance and stakeholder coordination across CTDOT.
