Job summary
The Connecticut DOT seeks a Transportation Planner 2 to lead statewide transit technology programs and projects across planning, evaluation, procurement and implementation. Qualifications
- Experience in transportation planning, transit technology, systems engineering, or related fields.
- Project and program management skills with ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage complex initiatives.
- Knowledge of transit operations, ITS, and emerging transit technologies.
- Technical aptitude to evaluate technology solutions, specifications, and vendor proposals.
- Strong coordination and communication with internal and external partners.
- Experience with federal and state transportation grants, procurement, and contract management.
