Job summary

Mass Electric Construction Co. is seeking Field Engineer Transit Systems Interns to support office and field activities, including estimating, shop drawings, submittals, schedules, takeoffs, and project documentation.

You'll report to Field/Project Engineers, work with crews and office staff, and potential travel for this internship across districts. This paid internship offers exposure to major transportation projects and a path to full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related degree.
• Strong work ethic — willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
• Ability to travel and relocate as business requires.
• Experience with leadership in some capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in office and field activities to support construction projects.
• Work with shop drawings, submittals, schedules, take offs, pay requests, and contract changes.
• Maintain project documentation and support project controls.
