Job summary

VINCI Construction Grands Projets USA seeks an Assistant Project Manager (Stations) to lead the safe, timely delivery of new Red Line Extension stations in the Chicago area. You will plan, procure, and oversee structural steel works, coordinating with subcontractors and teams across guideway, civil, track and systems to ensure seamless interfaces.

Requirements include a civil engineering degree, 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience, cost control and scheduling skills (Primavera, MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of construction engineering experience on contractor’s side on building or heavy civil construction projects.
• Experience with developing means and methods for construction activities.
• Experience with cost control on self-delivered construction scope.
• Experience with scheduling construction works using Primavera, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD tools for construction planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and timely delivery of the new RLE stations and coordinate interfaces.
• Plan, procure and oversee construction of structural steel for platforms.
• Manage primary subcontractors and interface with guideway, civil, track and systems works.
• Prepare and update construction documentation, work plans, and submittals.
• Brief and coordinate construction teams on scope, schedule and safety analysis.
• Track subcontractor documentation, schedules, progress and quality records.
• Manage RFIs and NCRs in collaboration with field, design and quality teams.
