VINCI Construction Grands Projets USA, a leader in major infrastructure delivery, seeks a Quality Control Project Engineer to oversee QA/QC activities on complex design-build projects in the Chicago area.

You will manage QC consultants, coordinate inspections with systems contractors, and ensure documentation compliance across the project lifecycle, including turnover to the Owner and final acceptance testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management related to transportation, rail, transit, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience overseeing quality activities across systems, signaling, traction power, or related disciplines.
• Ability to write and review reports with clarity and precision.

Responsibilities

• Apply project rules and promote Health & Safety during site visits and in the office.
• Support QA/QC processes and oversee QC consultants and inspectors.
• Coordinate with area managers and project engineers to schedule inspections.
• Review quality records, tests, and turnover packages for compliance.
• Monitor ITP hold points and testing requirements with contractors.
• Assist with closeout, punch lists, and project meetings.
