Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations with calm, professional communication and notify appropriate personnel or agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to deter incidents and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, public areas, and equipment; report unusual conditions, hazards, damaged property, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents and patrol activities, maintaining professional communication with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
