Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Reporter in Long Beach, CA. You will serve and safeguard clients across industries, conduct patrols, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, preparing reports, and maintaining a visible, welcoming presence while upholding site policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help discourage unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, public areas, and assigned equipment or systems; report unusual conditions, hazards, damaged property, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and maintain professional communication with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Reporter in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $19.12 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
