Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Transit Platform in Denver, CO. You will safeguard passengers and staff, perform patrols, and maintain a visible security presence at a government transit location with a strong focus on customer service.

As part of a dynamic team, you will respond to incidents, follow procedures, and help ensure safe, smooth operations for riders and personnel in a fast-paced transit environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• State, county, or city security license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures and site policies at public transit locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, facilities, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, access concerns, and transit disruptions; document and report observations per procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations calmly and professionally, contacting transit personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Assist with crowd direction, restricted-area access, and incident response with courteous presence.
