Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Transit Platform in Denver, CO to safeguard passengers, employees, and visitors at a government transit location. The role emphasizes customer service, vigilance, and adherence to post orders, with a schedule of 2 PM to 10 PM across days.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of security or related experience, a high school diploma, and an armed guard license.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Armed security experience and valid armed guard license required.
• Background check and drug screen as part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees and visitors while following post orders and safety procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of transit stations, platforms and parking areas to spot hazards and rule violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with emergency services or law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain firearms and equipment in compliance with licensing and Allied Universal policies.
• Document patrols and incidents with detailed reports and notify relevant personnel.
