Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks an Armed Security Officer Transit Platform in Denver, CO. You will protect transit facilities, engage with passengers and staff, and maintain a calm, professional presence during incidents to ensure safety and service quality.

The role requires at least 3 years in armed security or related fields, a valid background and drug screen, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as military police, corrections officer, armed security-related professional, or certified law enforcement graduate.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff while enforcing site policies.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances following established procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of transit facilities and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Maintain patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity records.
