Job summary

The Transportation Authority of Calhoun County in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a Scheduler to develop, maintain, and optimize daily and long-range service schedules for Max, Move and Flex services. You will work with the Dispatch team to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery and assist the Mobility Manager as needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedule changes, generating performance reports and dashboards, and resolving conflicts with Operations, Dispatch and field

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years in a public transportation position as a driver, dispatcher, mechanic or similar role.
• One to Three years’ experience in dispatch or scheduling role in public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize daily and long-range service schedules.
• Coordinate schedule changes with operations and events.
• Generate reports and dashboards on service performance metrics (on-time, run efficiency, utilization).
• Resolve day-to-day schedule conflicts with Dispatch and Mobility Manager.
• Respond to inquiries regarding timetable information and changes.
