Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a Transportation Safety & Training Supervisor in Stockton, California. The role reports to the General Manager and collaborates with operations and field leadership to maintain transportation safety, training, and compliance programs across the operation.

Responsibilities include coordinating training needs, ensuring safety standards, and fostering accountability and continuous improvement among drivers and staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Problem solving and prioritization abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct road evaluations for candidates and drivers.
• Oversee Medical certification scheduling appointments process.
• Assist with On-boarding, training, and badging process with new hires and team members.
• Train all new hires in Pre-trips, Behind the Wheel, Samsara, Policies, Procedures, Radio communication.
• Accident investigation – on scene, paperwork, pictures, interviews.
• Review and track data from driver performance software and assess with team members.
• Refer any disciplinary actions needed to GM for processing.
• Communicate with all drivers periodically after an accident or event coaching.
• Conduct monthly Safety meetings.
• Semi-Annual evaluations and retrains when needed.
• Work with facility supervisors and dispatchers to ensure all safety policies are being followed.
• Additional ad-hoc projects that are assigned In regards with Safety & Training.
