Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) seeks a Safety professional to develop and implement occupational safety programs across facilities, vehicles, and equipment. You will review conditions, perform audits, and collaborate with departments to improve safety and reduce incidents.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, identifying hazards, delivering training, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, IDOT, and FTA regulations. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Public Health, Environmental Engineering, or related field with 3 years of safety experience.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification preferred.
• Must possess a valid Illinois driver’s license (DL).

Responsabilidades

• Conduct OSHA-compliant inspections of CTA facilities, shops, and garages.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and implement safety training programs for field personnel.
• Investigate incidents and contribute to corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
