Job summary

Purple Line Transit Operators LLC is seeking a Safety and Security Specialist to support the administration and development of the company’s safety and compliance program. You will analyze incidents, maintain records, and serve as the official Safety Department representative at accident sites.

Under the Chief Safety Officer, you will conduct hazard inspections, assist with training materials, and coordinate with emergency responders while ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in safety-related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in safety and compliance.
• Experience in transit safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safety program development and compliance initiatives.
• Conduct safety investigations and audits; report findings.
• Analyze safety data and trends; prepare management reports.
• Coordinate with the Safety Officer and incident scene representatives.
• Lead or participate in Safety Review Committee activities.
• Support DOT/DMV compliance and Drug & Alcohol programs.
