Job summary

WSP USA seeks a senior leader to drive delivery of passenger rail programs and guide strategic growth across markets. You will oversee complex, multi-discipline projects from design through operational readiness, while expanding client engagement and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will base out of New York, Los Angeles, or Washington, DC, travel as needed, lead a cross-country team, mentor staff, and help shape the rail and transit discipline with a focus on performance,

Qualifications

• 15+ years in transit and rail systems, with a proven record in project management
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, systems engineering, transportation engineering, or related field
• Experience working with transit agencies and organizations at a national level
• Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and project oversight

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee transit and rail systems projects to ensure successful delivery and compliance with industry standards
• Drive market growth strategies for transit and rail systems services, including pursuit planning, capture strategy, client development, and key account growth
• Mentor and manage project teams, ensuring high performance and professional development of staff
• Oversee planning, design, and execution of rail and transit projects from concept to completion, with scope, schedule, and budget responsibility
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in transit and rail systems
