Job summary

WSP is seeking a Transit and Rail System Delivery and Growth Leader in the United States to oversee the delivery of passenger rail programs and drive strategic growth, market expansion, and client engagement.

This executive will lead design, technical delivery, construction, and operational readiness, mentoring teams while managing scope, schedule, and budget across large programs. Opportunities available in New York, Los Angeles, or Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in transit and rail systems with a proven record in project management.
• Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in civil engineering, Systems Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field and have experience.
• Experience working with transit agencies and organizations at a national level.
• Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and project oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee transit and rail systems projects, ensuring successful delivery and compliance with industry standards.
• Drive market growth strategies for transit and rail systems services, including pursuit planning, capture strategy, client development, and key account growth.
• Mentor and manage project teams, ensuring high performance and professional development of staff.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in transit and rail systems.
• Take the lead in coordinating business development and client engagement activities, further enhancing our presence in the rail and transit sector.
