Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transit Project Manager to support the Transportation Business Group in New England. You will manage rail/transit projects, pursue opportunities, and deliver client-focused solutions with a strong emphasis on QA/QC and mentorship.

The role requires travel to client sites and occasional in-office collaboration. Preferred candidates have PMP, MA PE license, and experience with AutoCAD/MicroStation/OpenRoads/OpenRail and Primavera or SureTrak.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 7 years related project management experience in transit/rail.
Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and coordinating with clients.
Proficiency with project management, scheduling, and office software.

Responsibilities

Lead client and design-team management for commuter and rail transit projects.
Direct multidisciplinary project activities across planning, design, and construction phases.
Coordinate staffing and workload to meet schedules and deliverables.
Prepare and participate in proposals and marketing activities as needed.
Ensure QA/QC procedures and reviews on transit projects.
